What You Need For Us To Start!
This all needs to be collected and sent to us in one document
- Logo (preferably in vector format)
- Favicon (or what part of your logo you want to use as a small square icon)
- Sitemap (how many pages and what the page titles will be)
- Page content for all pages mentioned in the sitemap. Each page should have about 500-800 words of content. Also, all unmodified images required to fill out the template.
- SEO content:

- Page descriptions (50-160 characters). i.e. “Optimize Page Title. Website page titles are the most important SEO element of your page. Yet many people don’t use it effectively. Here’s how to fix it.”. More
- Page titles (if different from the navigation names, up to 60 characters in length). i.e. “How To Optimize Website Page Titles | Learn Basic SEO”. More
- All imagery should have a description for alt tags (up to 125 characters long). i.e. for a picture of a stack of pancakes: “Stack of blueberry pancakes with powdered sugar.”. More

- Provide any videos you need to be included. They should be hosted on YouTube, so a link will be required
- Contact form requirements. Will you require ReCaptcha?
- Is newsletter signup required? Are you targeting Canada or Europe? If so CASL or GDPR rules will be required (click on the term to go to the official legal page).
- Social Media links
- Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions content (click the terms to go to page content generators)
- If you’d like Google Analytics configured (recommended), provide your Google Analytics credentials to link to the website.
- Blog: will you require a blog? If so, provide an initial blog post and related image. For best SEO results, the post should be between 1000-2500 words.
- Do you have any information for the website footer such as an address, phone number, email address, extra links, etc.?
- Are you selling anything and require a pricing page? If so, provide the pricing tiers, features, best choice, etc.
- Branding: provide your brand colours, font face(s), etc.
